The Klocker Foundation has awarded the Klocker Art Prize 2025 to Jakob Lena Knebl (*1970 born in Baden) and Ashley Hans Scheirl (*1956 born in Salzburg).

Jakob Lena Knebl and Ashley Hans Scheirl represent a transdisciplinary artistic practice that deliberately dissolves the boundaries between painting, sculpture, installation, fashion, performance, film, and theory. Their works playfully combine these media, reflecting on questions of identity, desire, and physicality in the tension between social norms and individual experience.

The Klocker Foundation jury honors their consistent, open, and socially relevant work, which challenges conventional ideas and develops new forms of subjectivity, community, and aesthetic expression.
